Dalgety Apartments - Townsville

I love finding new locations to take photos of architecture - new angles and perspectives provide a fresh take on something we see everyday. This one I took is of the recently constructed Dalgety Apartments in Townsville. I wanted to highlight the buildings bold character that dominates the skyline of the city.

Suncorp Building - Townsville

I enjoy how this building appears smaller at the bottom and then larger as it goes higher. I like to think of it as a late version of Brutalism in its structural form, although would appear to have been designed when the movement was shifting to a new style of design.
